• Selected as "Greater Hattiesburg Home Builder of the Year" in 1994, 1999, and 2003.
• Active member of the National Home Builders Association, serving as President of the local association, State Regional Vice-President, and State & National Director. Also, Larry is currently serving his local association on the President's Advisory Board.
• In collaboration with Davis Brothers Construction LLC, received the "Best in Mississippi Award" in 2004 for a Commerical Remodel. This project was one of seventeen submitted from around the state for that year. The project was designed and built by Davis & Johnson LLC.
• Served as Chairman of the Inguaral Home & Products Show, showcasing the area's top builders and vendors.
• Served as Project Manager of the United Way Home Sweet Home project in 2004. To date, over $250,000 has been raised for the local United Way through this annual project.
• Founder and President of The Carpenter's Helper, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the aged and others in need with home repair and assistance. The organization, formed in 2004, has been hailed by local city leaders as a great benefit to those who for financial or physical reasons, cannot maintain their living conditions.

• Served as Greater Hattiesburg Home Builder's Association's first woman president.
• Currently serves as a State Director and a National Delegate alternate.
• Recognized by the Southeast United Way for her contributions to the Home Sweet Home Project in 2004 and 2005.
• Owner of JBJ Land LLC, a land acquisition and development company.
• Owner and designer for The Cabinet Studio - a Wellborn Cabinet franchise.
• Received award for Best of Mississippi - Best Custom Home in 2007.
